Just came across this block today, would love to reconnect it back to its rightful car but unsure where it goes. Any help would be appreciated.

11 14 67 build date. HP engine. G assembly line = St. Louis, MO. What all did they build there that would leave with a 440 in '68. Chargers and Cornet R/T's?

Chargers weren’t built at the St Louis plant until March of 68 so this was out of a Coronet R/T or GTX.

The car would have come from around the St. Louis metro area, if anyone knows of one let me know. I’m not looking to flip it, I’d rather help it find home.. It’s a challenge / treasure hunt kinda thing.

Put the number in the topic bar. It will help is someone searches for it.

It could be from a C-body car if they were building C-body cars in St. Louis back then.

1968 St Louis builds B-bodies, that’s why we mentioned only B-bodoes.

Just took it to the machine shop for inspection, I’ll hold on to it till we find it’s home. I just want to verify what it appears to be which is a standard bore with caps. I’m also locating other date correct items that would go with it. If someone has the car provide the proof and you can have it for what I got in it..

...4 speed...
If memory serves, "5" would be for code 395, so Auto, I think. I believe a 4 speed would have been a "3"?

Not positive - all my cheat-sheets are trapped on a dead computer's hard drive:(

...reconnect it back to its rightful car...
Probably want to post a thread with the digits, and known-to-date info, in the "Lost and Found" forum?

M

**Edit** - I guess these would be the four potential VINs for the original car?
