Some oils that I thought were very good ( Brad Penn ) actually don't have a very good wear protection. I have started using Valvoline Max Life 10W40 synthetic blend in my 68 Coronet R/T after reading the article and reading the ratings. There is a lot of good oils out there without adding the additives that the author used in some oils. I looked at it this way why spend the extra money for the additives when you can buy off the shelve oil that's just as good or better.
