Spool arrived today, and then of course I had to order some ARP ring gear bolts to go with it.

The madness never ends until the last scoop of dirt falls.

Replaced an O2 sensor on her Wrangler, to try and get rid of an annoying recurring catalyst efficiency error code...hope the $46 sensor does it, and it doesn't need a cat!

Been spending money on parts to fix the daily drivers.
Hit what I think was a big chunk of a blown out truck tire on the highway that ripped half the bumper off the 2012 Kia Optima (only 160,000 miles on it).
damage was so bad I needed to replace the radiator core support, bumper core, bumper cover, air scoop/shields between bumper and radiator/intercooler, headlight mounting clips (the headlights were OK?), fog lights and wiring/socket for passenger side fog light that got ripped off with the passenger side of the bumper cover, upper and lower bumper grills, air dam, Inner front fender liners, paint for the bumper cover, and a bunch of smaller clips, bolts, nuts, seals and such. Suprised there was no air bag deployment?
Also bought brake pads, rotors, calipers, and brake hoses for the car. Suspension and wheel bearings/hubs were replaced last year.
The Granddaughters 2010 Hyundai Tyscon with 180,000 miles is getting an entire front end rebuild, new struts with coils, lower control arms with ball joint, inner/outer tie rods, new wheel bearings and hubs, sway bar links and such.
I must have been lucky as I haven't had any issues with the Theta II engines?
Have a few other smaller projects going on too.

modified max crossram , narrower and taller than stock. it compliments the hemi block.

Broke down and ordered the new repo headlight surrounds for my 1964 Dodge 440. Also ordered new tail light lenses and gaskets. The surrounds and lenses are from Vansauto and the gaskets are from DetroitMuscle. Doing some cosmetic upgrades now. This winter I will install the new 3:55 trac-lock into the 8 3/4 and convert front drums to discs.

I bought a crank pulley from Steve for the coronet. I got my gauge thingy so I can calibrate my fuel gauge in the coronet too. Also received 2 10AN weld on steel bungs for turbo drains, just in case.

Amsoil, Gibbs and Sta Bil have products to put in the tank for our wonderful gas. Stops the "Phase Separation".
I use Sta-bil now, have since I've owned it too
still crusty white crap from the corn/liquored-ethanol alcohol contents

Got my tank yesterday. Since there was an Industrial Metal Supply on the way back, scored a piece of 18ga and 11ga cold rolled for future projects.
Budnicks, are the any Indian reservations around? The reason I ask is that at many of them, they don't have the CARB additive package in the fuel. Still have Ethanol though. My friend in Vegas hauls fuel from over by Nellis to the Rez's in Cali. Might help. I know Amsoil has additives for both short and long term storage, think Sta-Bil does too. Might help to move the rides periodically to circulate/shake up the fuels.

My mail lady just delivered 2 control valve to steering cylinder hoses ($42) to replace one that has rotted out on the '65, but I'm headed to the Oregon Coast for the wife's birthday today. I'll get to it on Monday. Or Tuesday. Maybe Wednesday. Life is good!

Well, come to find out i had a dead battery in the daily driver this morning, when i wanted to start doing my errands around the city.

Neighbor lady gave me a ride down to O'Reilly's to get a battery.

Wow, holy S**T a battery costs $200.00 bucks these days.
Last battery i bought was 5 years ago, and really don't remember what i paid for that one, back then.

Then doing one of the errands that i need to do at the local Lowes, a gallon of acetone now costs $21.00 bucks.

And costs for everything is only going to get lots worse.

Yup, every time you think you can retire inflation kicks that possibility down the road...

Not parts, but last week I had the Classic Air a/c system charged, and it held pressure! Took three visits; a couple of leaks the first two times. Been fiddling and fabbing the system on and off for nine years, and now the Coronet has ac.

Flywheel lock tool for my P-car. It is supposed to arrive on Monday.

Meanwhile, hoping Legendary will have a Labor Day sale.

And, I did have to buy a new condenser from CA, as I had inadvertently pierced a small hole in one of the tubes.
