Any one know the correct size round ribbon sealer to use on a rear window glass installation, 1968 Dodge Charger? 3/8" or 5/16" or 1/4" or is it trial and error?
Or even a installation video?

I'm pretty sure my manual said 5/16" but 3/8" could be used on a less than perfect sealing surface or if extra height was needed. The 3/8" will likely just require more pressure to get it down where it's needed, doing this in a well heated garage will likely help with the butyl. The guys that installed my rear glass used the new urethane (allot better), they have a fancy electric caulking gun that puts down a perfect bead. Good luck

Just installed the back glass in my '68 coronet yesterday. Used 3M 5/16" round ribbon sealer ... Was very easy, just be sure to use pinch weld primer before laying the butyl on the car. Instantly bonds to the pinch weld !
