I have an exhaust system with a 2 inch outside diameter. I want to change mufflers so do I get 2 inch or 2/14 inch entry/exit ? Thanks to all in advance
FYI....
Tubing is designated by O.D. (outside diameter) x wall thickness. For example, 2" OD x 0.060" thick wall. Whereas pipe is designated by I.D. (Inside diameter x schedule). For example, 2" pipe I.D. is 2 3/8" OD X schedule ie, schedule 10, 40, 80 which is the wall thickness and weight of pipe.
Tubing can be either seamless OR welded. Likewise, pipe can be eithet seamless OR welded.
