What speedometer cable?

If I have a 71 Charger with a 4 speed, what speedo cable do I need? Will one for an automatic work?

this is the best speedo cable out there for your car
i bought one and was impressed,it is a quality piece
compared to the crap i've seen sold elsewhere
imo the repop ones are cheap garbage and a waste of your 25 bucks

Not so fast guys. I had a 904 auto in my car and thought it was a 727 and ordered a new cable for a 727. Turns out the size of the connection to the transmissions are different. I got around the problem by pulling the connector off the old 904 cable and recrimping it onto the new 727 cable.

So you better see what size fitting your tranny has.
