Guys, I helped an older Mopar Gent reduce his lifelong stash of Mopar parts and have this buddy seat. What year ,or years, was this from. He said it was from a 68 Charger he thought. I don't need it and was wondering what's it worth in this very rough condition. As you can see, I think the frame could be sandblasted, repaired and recovered. thanks

No brackets. Poor condition. If I saw a $50 price tag on it I'd keep walking. And yes, I'm in the market for one. Just my opinion.

Thanks gk, is it from a 68?, and was this same stye/type used in other years as well. Just trying to learn a bit. Seems its too rough for parts or anything, Ill just chunk it. thanks again.

What dose the back of the arm rest look like? That will tell if it is 1968 or older.

I learned at Don Garlits, that there are at least two styles of mounting.

My 72-74 cars have two different mounts, one at the rear that attaches to the sides under the hinge area and folds up after bending over the transmission tunnel.

...and a different style in the front, that bolts to the front, under the edge and basically has a 2/3 "half circle" cutout that contacts the tunnel at about 2 o'clock facing forwards and goes around counter clockwise to about 8 o'clock.

I saw a guy selling one that he said was from a 69, and it had two of the same mounts, like the rear mount mine has.
