Why is an April 1971 build Plymouth, a 1972 model? I mean really, do the US manufacturers think people actually swallow this marketing crappola??

The 1972 model year started production in late July, a little early that year compared to the usual August starting time. What April Plymouth are you looking at? Interesting...

If you want silliness, consider the Dodge and Plymouth neon production started in the end of 2003 and went on sale in dealerships Jan. 2004, as a 2005 model. :)

Most of my junk is inop, but I hope to have the GTX ready for my 50th BD, and I have a lot of fun with the 300, Dart, Duster Drag car and the two 2009's.
 
I have a 1968 Superbee and a 1974 Challenger. Sorry to all that love original but doing some crazy mods to my 74 Challenger. Challenger was my favorite till I got the Superbee.
