Hey - I'm in need of a windshield and I'd like to go with a 8.75 rear vs. the 8.25 that I have.. There would be some salvageable items to sell and the bulge hood is still good as the seller has told me ..

So - what's it really worth?

1973 440 console sunroof car ..

Sure grip or not?? Is the windshield clear and not sand pitted? Throw him a number. Worst he can say is no.

Yeah - he doesn't know about the rear .. Says all glass is really clean .. Was thinking on taking the risk and offering 700. It's a rust bucket attached to some good parts.

Figured a new shield will run 200 installed and the rear is wort 4 to 5 bucks if it's not frozen.. Bonus the bulge good which is restore and keep .. Cut the sunroof roof off - glass - ect.

you would have to go look at it
to get a real grip on the value
i don't think you could get hurt at 700
its probably worth what he is asking

the rear-200,glass-200 and hood-300 are worth 700 alone
the power window and sunroof parts could be worth some good coin also

parts cars are the gift that keeps on giving if you
can take it apart properly and have the place and time.

I do have the place - time, ehhh not so much - ha!
I am a body man so taking it apart would be a chinch ...

Ok - thanks guys ...

I gave $800 for a similar small block car recently, sunroof, bulge hood etc. Made my money back and got all the parts I wanted. I'd say, depending on the condition of the parts you want, even $1k might not be too much as you will be surprised what parts people want and what parts you didn't realize you could use.

Well - there's no seats , fenders ( obviously ) - dash is there as is cluster and console .. I just want rear and windshield, hood and maybe the sun roof to cut and throw on mine .. Sun roof panel is rusty as per his word..

I'm just gonna go look at it ..

Dash pad ? Is it a Rallye dash ? You can't lose for grand.

Pay the man the $1500 before he changes his mind where's the car I'll go in on it with you you get the rear and the front glass you stick a rear back under it and then I'll ship it here to fl Let me know that's a rear *** car .
Your talking about a 73 rallye sunroof charger u coded 440 727 trans 8 3/4 sure grip with at least a 3.73 gear more then likely a 3.55 no higher by the looks of the car I'm sure the rear is fine (probably the reason smashed) then add to boot power Windows this is one if the best option rallye chargers I've ever seen I am serious if you want I'll go in on it with you so you don't need to lay out a ton of cash send me some pictures ether way or if your going to pass please send me the seller s information p.m. me and we can talk

I've restored a ton of this style charger and know them very good it's definitely the rear you want.

is it a real sunroof car, or is it a sunroof that a guy has added at some point in time? I've seen quite a few "sunroof" cars

I looked at that car its a sunroof u code too. as I remember it had that checked cloth interior

Going over to see it now .. It does not have any interior .. Just the console, dash and various panels ..

So - it's a rust bucket .. Rotted bad .. But the rear is good and the windshield is cracked. Console is really clean, steering wheel is clean as is the dash but the pad is cracked.

It's a real sunroof car --

Sunroof is warped and surface rusted out - inside is complete tho.

Bulge hood is surface rusted with some rotten parts on the inside ..

I'm waiting on one guy to tell me if he will take the whole car minus the rear ..

If not - Ill consider buying to part out dash, console and sunroof parts if I can get some interest from you guys ...

Did you see his black Daytona with the red stripe?

Too bad there are not more repop parts available for 73/74. If that car was a 68 it would be getting saved instead of crushed.

Does the gauge cluster have the radio section intact or is it cut?

A 150mph/Tach cluster like that is probably worth $300-$400(if not cut).

With repops of the console available for $250, I'm not sure what the one in there is worth.

That roof and other sheet metal...ooof!

Is the seller solid on their price or can you get it for less?
