What's it worth ...

That car is not an SE. It clearly is a rallye package car which wasn't available for the SE. That's either a hardtop or coupe. How hard is that to understand!?

I don't think anyone is suggesting the car in this thread is an SE
Just some side conversations

that ain't no SE car. That's a hardtop or coupe. The SE had the louvered side windows with a special vinyl top. The hood is also different on the SE to contain the Special Edition emblem. Also, the suspension is different between the SE and the hardtop/coupe chargers. And the SE charger did not have the rallye option with the bulge hood, graduated body stripes, etcetera.

- I am new to Mopar .. And, well, yeah.. That's all I got ..

THIS car is most likely a factory rallye car, but not every SE came with the louvered windows as you could, in fact, order a hardtop SE. How hard is THAT to understand? I have no idea how many came that way (I am guessing low numbers) but I am sure at the very least a few sales bank cars were ordered. Could you option everything on the rallye package but as a hardtop SE? That I don't know but if possible I am sure that one may have gotten out if the option was there, we have seen stories of buyers loading up sport satellites when they could have just bought a GTX, and at a lower cost, but that's the way it went.

Just wanted to add this to the conversation, the "Tuff"wheel in good shape brings money but it is probably as bad as the car. The console you shown has the typical crack on the side so it's driver quality or worse also.

I'm sure I know who that seller is and if there was money to be made he would have already.

The rear you want from it is only good for a 71-4 B-Body, is that what you have?

I agree with that. The guy seems to maximizing his profit from this car. I think you would be better off buying the pieces you need.
Like the windshield. I picked up a brand new one for about $125 from a windshield place. Better than used scratched up thing. Probably thinner, but hey, I'm ok with that.
And the rear? You can pick up a 8 3/4 for about 100 it it's a non sure grip.

I'd pass on this thing if he wants 1200.

Yeah - I am .. Thanks for all the Info guys.

The seller was quite a nice guy.. And we had some good conversation.. But it's not worth the hassle at this point and time.
