Building my engine now and I am curious as to what to expect...any guesses?

67' 383
stock bore and stroke
915 heads, 2.08/1.74 blended and matched, probably cleaned up at least 3 times @ 0.10 each time.
Purple cam 280/474, lifters, correct springs, retainers and locks. 238 @.050 Center line 110.
Holley Street dominator Intake
Carter 750 competition carb
Headman 1 3/4" tubes
Electronic Ignition

Backed up with 727 with shift kit, 2500 converter and 3.91 gears, manual steering and manual brakes.

What coil would you recomend and if you have any tips they would be appreciated.

365-ish HP if we're guessing.

Really need to know the compression ratio.

Probably good for mid to high 14's? in the quarter.

Compression should be very close if not higher than 10.1. I figured it out on Cam Quest and it came out to about 425 to 445 allowing for variables on compression and intake flow.

Sounds like a nice street build. I had a 383 in my sons Dart that was very close to your build
It was a stock stroke and bore 383 with stock pistons. I cut the 452 heads for 9.5 comp and I did some mild pocket porting on the 452 heads and used stock valves. MP .484 cam on a 104 centerline. Performer RPM intake and 750 DP. It had 3.91's with 26" Hoosier QTP tires and a Turbo Action 10" tight 3000 converter. With him in his 72 Dart it weighed almost 3600 and 3400 without him. That car ran a best of 12.31 @ 110 with 12.40's and 50's on average days. Good luck with your 383 build. Ron
