What's your view of improper rebadging a car ?

Then, what about the guys that dump in the 440 and keep the 318 badge? What are they?

Smart.....and winners of street races. The more sleeper the better.

It's far less threatening to race a Belvedere badged as a 318 than something with GTX badges.

I knew guys that pulled plug wires on Hemi cars before the money was settled to make the car sound like ****.

The only reason to rebadge a car is to make people think you own something you do not.

While not a Mopar, this Toyota HiAce van of mine with a mighty 4-cyl diesel and 4-speed automatic trans is no stump-puller.....so I had to dress it up a little to try keep up with the big dogs in their 300+kW Holdens and Falcoons. Administered my touch on the tailgate to give fair warning.....

That's a whole 96 horsepower my friends.

Join me next week when I work on adding a snorkel just in case I encounter a rainy day or a small stream to ford. :p

Knew a few guys back when who liked the sleeper effect; one was stuffing a 421 SD engine in a Lemans. Good Lord what a beast it was. He kept the 326 badges on it. These guys only had one mission in mind, lol.

Late 77 I bought a 67 Camaro R/S. Started noticing A lot of Camaros ,regardless of year,with 69 Z/28 emblems.
Damn things were everywhere. I still laugh when I see them at a cruise.
Your car,do what you want!

One year at the Street Machine Nationals, Vince Piggins was in attendance. He stated flatly "In 1967, we built 612 Z28s. It's nice to see all 3000 of them here today..."

Your car, build it the way you want it.... Don't alter the VIN, don't alter the fender tag... IMO clones are cool cause they usually get driven more with less stress....

Australians have a similar issue with the XY GT 351 Falcons.... apparently around 1,557 were made, and yet today there are something like 20,000 of them driving around between Aussie and NZ.

Actual productions numbers without clones would mean most people would never have seen one.

Thanks guys, I think I'm sticking with the factory emblems, might make the car more of what it is, the emblems were 1 year only just like the car. I'll just touch them up with paint, and be done with it.
