I'm looking for suggestions on a wheel/ tire combination for my Charger. I currently have the stock rally wheels and 215/ 70/ 14 tires. I am looking for an attractive staggered combination that will improve drivability and fill out the wheel wells in the back. The car has 3:55 axle ratio so a bit of "overdrive" would also be welcome. Car currently runs about 3100 RPM at 60 Mph. If you have a 2nd generation Charger with a nice combination, please post a photo and note the wheel/ tire size for comparison.
I am planning on keeping the stock wheels and mounting the Goodyear Polyglass tires that came with the car for the purpose of car shows, etc.
Thanks.

Great looking Charger you have there!
I don't have a Charger but I do have a Mopar with the 17" aluminum Year One Rallye wheels.
They are a great choice if you like that look and come in 17x8 & 17x9 -- you can even buy a complete staggered set.

I have 235/60 and 295/50 tires on 15x8 wheels - looks very good imo

Not my cars, unfortunately I don’t own a charger, but I thought I would give an opinion if that’s ok. 15x7, 235 or 245/60/15 front, and 15x8 with 275/60/15 is pretty much the standard. Fills up wheel wells nicely, and if you’re brave enough 15x10 with a 295/50?/15. You’re lucky, any wheel looks good on a charger, but here’s some of my favorites.

American racing vectors, of course we all know the famous car these were on.

American racing daisys. I think they’re more common on Chevys, but I like you don’t see them too much on mopars, makes it stand out IMO.

And my personal favorite, the Keystone Klassic. They have a similar appearance to the magnum 500s, but there’s a lot of depth, and curves, like our b bodies.

Maybe use some 15x8 front and 15x10 Rallye wheels.
I'd had put them on my 69 if they were correct, but it started in 70.
I did put Steelies on my 69 with color matched 15x8 and 15x10's

As mentioned in other posts. I swap my wheels and tires on my cars like women do shoes.

Ended up putting 15/8 and 15/7 Weld Draglites on the Charger with 275 60's and 215 70's combo. Sits about 2 inches higher and rides nice now!

Wish I had a 70 R/T, I have a 69 R/T SE, so I guess its ok.

I know it’s not your year but I just put these 275/40/18 on the rear and 245/40/18 on the front
