On a b body, when do you really need a frame jig or internal bracing? Some guys get their car on a jig first thing, others cut out the trunk, floors and/or quarters with it sitting in their driveway. I don't want my frame or body to twist/shift obviously. Is cutting out the trunk pan or floor pans really risky without bracing?

Thanks in advance...I'm a real newbie when it comes to body work. My car has rough spots, but I'd like to save it so I have to learn to do some of it myself.

Just change out a section at a time. Do the trunk then the floors they are 2 piece so just do one at a time. It shouldn't move if you do this way. I done mine that way and had no problems. Good Luck Ronnie

Same hear, if you have good rockers, frame rails ,ect. good jack stands. floors and trunk no problem., i was freaked out about it myself to the point of nightmares.
