Where did you and your car go today

Went to Tampa to look at a 67 Charger.
Passed as it looked to have quite a bit of previous body work and maybe even a quarter panel replaced and a lot was starting to come back out. Too bad, it's a pretty car with straight, clean lines, and ran and drove great.
Haven't had the Satellite on the freeway in a long time. 100 miles plus round trip.

No pics of the Charger?

1967 Dodge Charger for sale - Tampa, FL - craigslist

Looks great in pics.

No way is it "original", though.

Won't hold a refrigerator magnet where the emblems are supposed to be, on the quarters behind the wheels, or in several other places.
"Seam sealer" is super sloppy in several places including the quarter welds on the driver's door jamb..
Curious sloppy body work at the quarter to rear panel joint under the trim.
Common 66/67 Charger problem areas on C pillar were repaired and coming back out as well as trunk gutter.
Crusty rust from the inside at lower corner of driver's door and behind rear wheels.
Looks like it was fixed once and coming back out.

Priced attractively and could be patched back up although paint.....

...and the knowing (or not really knowing) what's under the patches for the second time.

Dang straight body lines, though.

I checked the quarter to door jamb welds on my 67 Plymouths and they are WAY, WAY cleaner with no seam sealer visible.

Heading up the coast on Hwy 1, just past Cayucos, on my way to Paso Robles to drop parts off for coating.

Turns out I was right about monsoon season.

Last Saturday was the last day for a rain free drive.
Glad I took advantage of it.

All week is 40-50% now.

Here is what central FL looks like at 8:37 this morning.

Went to my 1st cruise-in of the year at nearby Alderbrook Park. Met up with @halfafish / Zach, the 1st forum member I've met in person. Good dude and we'll be meeting up again. I was going to take this one and put a for sale sign in it but she didn't want to start warm so I guess I'll be swapping out the starter.

So I broke out the Polara, a little spit polish, and off we go.

I only got a couple pics before my phone battery died including this purty Charger and one of the crowd.
