Drove my 70 Charger an hour to work and another hour home. Just makes me feel good when I'm stressed out. Ate a ricer on the way to work. Tasted really good .

Here’s a better shot, if you’re near Mineral Wells Tx, you need to stop by the Vietnam war museum. Mineral Wells was home to Fort Wolters, one of the top helicopter training schools in the country during Vietnam. Over 300 helicopters would take off and land daily between 1965 and 1975.

We were at the Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway all weekend. Drove our 67 Satellite up Thursday and back today - about 360 mile round trip. Car ran great. Cruises at 75-80 mph without any problem.

Just made a 70 mile loop around Scottdale/ Mesa. Hiway driving at speed 65-70 all the way. Averaged 10-11 mpg. Not scientific measurments, just best observations of the gas gauge/ miles drove. Beautiful day here. Just me and my project making noise and having fun.

I saw a 66 Hemi Charger and a 66 Dart driving around today.
Thank you whoever you were .

Not as beautiful, but still good enough weather for another Sunday cruise. 1st picture is the Baker Hotel, when it was built in 1922 it was the largest skyscraper outside of a metropolitan area, it was closed in 1974, but it’s being renovated. 2 building is the Crazy water hotel, built in 1912, Machine Gun Kelly, Conrad Hilton, and Bonnie and Clyde were some notable guests. It was rebuilt in 2018 and got the ball rolling to rebuild Mineral wells.

For some reason I never thought of this thread that way, glad I could be your tour guide. Put your dang seatbelt on next time or I will pull the car over!

Like Cheap, I got out today, well I got out yesterday and the day before that too. I take trips to the store, eat, get the mail, things I could take the Durango, but, I choose not too. Ran around town and old main street is closed to car traffic today and hundreds of people doing that Christmas thing all over the place including the street, big time. Leaving the river road by main street, people going to get their cars were walking and could hear the coronet crackle as I was coming down the hilly street towards the river. A party of 5 were close to the intersection, they stopped, the the father and the young boy, 14 or 15 years old were waiting for me to turn their way. after turning and getting straightened out I was doing about 20 and the boy pumped his fist and I dropped the hammer for him. The car tires broke loose and were squalling as the car was trying to pull away. I looked in the mirror and he was jumping up and down and his father was giving me the thumbs up. They loved it and I hope they tell the story over and over to others. That, makes my day.

Mail pick up, first.

Looks like fun! I don’t feel like I have enough knowledge to do a build thread, so I post my journeys to inspire people to get theirs out.
