Where did you and your car go today

Just enough to make it dance off the glass like water. Been there. Looks great!

Trip to the hardware store for some pre-mixed concrete bags, 20kg (44 lbs) each.
4 in the trunk, 4 in the passenger footwell, much better weight distribution.
I had 8 bags in the trunk on the weekend and 350 lbs slung out the back made the car look and handle like a boat.

First day out. Been crazy busy with family issues but finally said enough and got it fired up!

Needs a good cleaning up after the winter hibernation but ran like a top! Got some fresh ethanol free (allegedly) gas and put about 20 miles on all over.. nothing special just out to work the kinks out. Now time for that good cleaning and oil change! Well, maybe another quick ride today first!

Out today again the Plymouth, beautiful winter's day.
The stance is a lot better when I'm not hauling concrete bags.

It's always about the smell of gas and the drive, not where you're going.

Went to the store, and on the way, I saw this. This is why I love living here.

And some of the town dates back to the day Lewis and Clark started heading out on their expedition. Some like these are turn of the century.

This building was part of the underground railroad, bringing in slaves.

Big tire guys
When I circled around again, The Nova was leaving. He stood on the pedal for a few seconds and the car raised up a few inches in the back like it was trying to climb over itself. We've seen each other before. It definitely gets with the program!!

Took the kids to the beach today. They had a great time as it's been quite awhile since they've been there. The parking lot was a great backdrop.

Did two car shows today in 103F temps. Won 2nd place at one show that was mostly Chevy. I was the only Mopar in attendance. In N Out gift card for $25 and a coffee mug. Better than a trophy. Had fun, burned lots of gas, and greatful for vintage air.

Wow, you did good, congrats!! The fun part is the recognition from people that know cars, that's pretty neat!

Drove to Salt Lake for granddaughter's graduation in our 2015 Challenger Shaker R/T. This car is so quiet and smooth riding compared to my 71 Challengers. When I drive, the car averages about 2 mpg better than when my wife drives. Hmm. A couple of times I glanced over at speedometer and it was at 90+ mph. I mostly drive at 4mph under the limit of 80 mph.

My Coronet is not quiet, but getting 24 plus mpg's can be done.
