where do these extra trunk brackets go?

I bought the 3 piece trunk brace from amd and can't see where the small ones go on my 68 charger. Are they for the fuel tank? Anyone no of a link with an exploded view?

Those are support braces for the gas tank. One of the other members here that has a thread rebuilding his charger showed a picture of those just recently. maybe check members project thread. Sorry I can't remember who's it was.

The small ones are for the front of the straps that hold your gas tank. They weld to the underside of the trunk floor.

These guys are right. J-bolts for the tank straps lock into the holes. Here's some pics that may help you get a general idea where the go.
