Regarding '72 Satellite Sebring Plus Project car (no A/C) looking for help on where this piece of leftover yellow fiberglass insulation belongs? And should there be two of them or just one? Thank you.

That would make sense . With that I cut out that way it fistvall the stuff going on drivers side . There's about 4-5 of them that look all different that clip to the fire wall under the dash .
 
That doesn’t look like padding used at the kick panel, would not been glued to it in my experience in ’72.
 
Yup, yup, yup! LOL, I was incorrect and after seeing 72RoadrunnerGTX picture it jogged my memory. Here is a picture of where it goes before I installed my dash, and there is one for each side.

Ok, found one of the dash installed and you can see it installed on the passenger side.

Ok, found another picture that shows the driver side before the dash went in.

And one that shows both sides before the dash went in, actually shows all the insulation except the one that goes in the drives side behind the e-brake mechanism.
