I understand my first car was a 51 Buick Special when I was 15. $250. It had 27000 miles. I sold it in 1967 for the downpayment on my 67 Satellite with 92000 miles and I got $250. That Satellite was $2995 tax ,tag and license.I just did that for the prospective of back when. 10 cent loaf of bread, 35 cents for a gallon of gas and the like. I remember a few guys from school who had wealthy parents and they would show up with a brand new muscle car. We had to make due with hammydown cars or a fixer upper that we paid $200 bucks for.![]()

The Sport Suburbans had the same front styling as the Sport Furys and came down the same assembly line.
