where to get 68 charger side window gaskets?

I need some help finding something for my 68 charger. All my side glass windows were good except for the passenger door. I will be buying a new glass and I have the stainless trim/seal holder for it that goes on the rear vertical edge. It has the rubber seal on one side to seal between the door glass and the rear quarter glass when rolled up, and I believe I have found those. On the other side of the trim is a U groove for the door glass to attach into, that had a U shaped plastic strip in it, glued in I guess?. I have been searching for those plastic U strips and not having much luck. Anyone ever deal with these and/or know of a supplier?

I bought mine from yearone, they're held in by 2 plastic T shaped guides that go threw 2 holes in the glass. The 2 T shaped guides connect together with a pin creating a plastic slide which is what locks it in the channel it also goes threw the plastic seal holding it in place. The glass should slide out the bottom allowing you to remove them, clean the channels very well and lube them up because the new seals are tight.

Sorry, just realized your talking about the other side. I was careful not to screw the rubber up on that side and just glued it back in.

747, I have to replace the front seal/slider strips also that you're talking about so thanks for that info.

I guess it could be some type of tape but it is about 1/16th thick and seems to be a hard black plastic U shaped strip/liner glued in the groove/channel to give the glass something to glue to rather than having glass to metal. But I may put it back with something like you're talking about. I guess since that window was busted some of the plastic came out with broken glass. It was about half gone is the only reason I'm replacing it. Maybe a glass install shop can fix me up with something that will work.

Here's a close up of the good other side where you can see the material/strips between the metal and glass. Anybody ever replace these or know what I'm talking about and a place to get them?

I think glass setting tape would work for the application. it gets brittle with age you just get the width wider than what you need and center it on the edge of glass and press the trim on and then use a razor blade to trim the excess. you could use some type of adhesive to help secure it

You are right BeeKeeper, BIG THANKS for the answer.. After 45 years the stuff was so hard it just didn't seem like any kind of tape. It seemed like plastic but I think now it is rubber, very old rubber. I did a google search for "glass setting tape" vids and found this useful one. After watching it I'm fairly sure it is glass setting tape that was originally used in that spot., apparently a very common way any trim is attached to glass,, and I found plenty of different types and thicknesses for sale.
