I wasn't even a thought considering the great woman that birthed me was still 6 months from being born.

3rd grade, they let school out and all the teachers and staff were visibly upset. my dad was a marine in wwll, six beach assults. I was not raised a sissy but that day touched my soul and I'll never forget.

4 years old & probably @ home in Concord Ca., I remember a little of it, didn't really understand what was going on, I was too young, I remember it, but mostly from later years & not the actual day that Pres. JFK was assassinated/shot in Dallas... he was truly a good leader, not like the one we have now...

I was 4 years old, watched it all on the Black and White console TV in the living room. I didn't really understand what was going on but my parents and other adults were upset, I remember the mood more than the event.

Sitting in my high school freshman science class when they announced Kennedy's assassination over the intercom. It was like all the air was sucked out of the room. Nobody said anything and many of the kids were crying and visibly shaken. I felt numb and really don't remember much of the rest of that day. Like many have said, thing were never the same after that day.

4 years old living on a army base in Fort Lee Virgina. Didn't really understand what was going on but knew things were different for quite some time after.

Junior in H.S. Faculty gathered everyone into the auditorium around mid day and the Principle made the announcement. You could have heard a pin drop. We all went home

5th grade at St Catherines in Allentown. I remember the announcement clearly. We assembled and the rest I don't remember.

I was 9 and all I can remember was that I was on the bus going home when I heard about it. I'm sure that all we watched the next few days was the TV coverage. The whole country was pretty much shut down.

I was in grade school on the 22nd. I remember walking home from school thinking about it. Just a few years earlier, we were allowed out of school to stand near the street to watch him go by while campaigning. There was a sign on the front of one of the cars that said something like; The next president of the United States.

I was 2yrs & 10 months old. Still living in Croatia. I came to Canada in 1966, and still remember something about JFK on TV after that time. I recall going on vacation around 1970 to DC, and visiting the various sites, but there was something about Kennedy, I still remember getting some souvenirs related to him.

I was in GYM Class freshman year high school ....the nuns told us they were crying...

Only the good die young . J.F.K.

God Bless America, the greatest country in the world.

Sonny

Sonny, I'm going to date myself, but I was driving my 63 Belv, 2dr Hdtp. 383, 4-speed when that happened. It was Black with Red Interior.
