depends on the 'devils dandruff'
(snow for you flatlanders)
we were getting like an 1" an hr
lightened up right now, winter storm warning
until 7 pm Turkey Thursday
if the roads are plowed in the AM
I will be going upcountry to my Aunt Joan's place
a few family, me & dad, my Aunt & my cousin Stan
his 15-16 week old Lab girl pup Bozo, Elvis the dogs etc.
my Aunt Joan is an awesome cook, tough on here at her age 85 too
but she insists on her doing it,
me & Stan one of her 3 sons, try to help as much as we can
or as much as she is willing to let US do
they are getting 'the devils dandruff' far worse than US
it's a couple thousand feet higher up, so I just don't know yet
I have a Turkey in the freezer just incase were on our own
all the kids are all at in-laws (every other year deal)
James my boy is deployed on a Naval ship en-route somewhere
My nephew (Keith, he's like a son) is doing it at his house with friends
down in the valley
my 5 sisters are doing the in-laws deal too
most my nieces & nephews are all grown up & away
my 2 brothers do their own thing, rarely come, they prefer to do it
with their own families
I wish I could just stay home for all these deals
most the family are so damn spread out now,
makes it tough to get everyone in the same place,
let alone come up to the snow/winter wonder land
they are mostly all a bunch of flatlanders & don't have 4x4's
to deal with these conditions
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone
