Which muscle car is ugly?

Speaking of James Bond and Mach 1's there's the famous scene where 007 escapes the police by going on two wheels through a narrow alley. Entering he's on one side, coming out he's on the other.

There's that "muscle car" term again.:p
:D

Dang marketing people. :soapbox:

Anyway, the 1970 Mercury Spoiler in the OP is a
B-O-A-T and ugly to boot. I wouldn't rank it as a muscle car.

As far as American sports cars go, Corvettes after 1973 are unappealing except for the last year of C7. I like the C8...guess I'm a weirdo; but I do remind myself daily it's a GM critter and so I'll stay away. :)

I'm disagreeing with the Spoiler not being muscle.

ENGINES Unlike its Cyclone siblings, the Spoiler was delivered with the 429 Cobra Jet engine as standard equipment, boasting 11.3:1 compression, 2.24/1.72-inch intake/exhaust valves, two-bolt main bearing caps, and a spread-bore 700-cfm Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. Benefiting from a functional Ram Air system also issued as standard equipment— the V-8 was advertised as making 370 horses and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Mercury's factory literature made clear that the Cobra Jet could be trumped by ordering a performance axle package, which yielded the 429 Super Cobra Jet, upgraded with forged aluminum pistons, a solid-lifter camshaft with more aggressive profile (versus a hydraulic cam fitted into the lesser 429s), a 780-cfm Holley 4150-series carburetor, four-bolt main bearing caps (on the second, third, and fourth mains), and an external engine oil cooler.

I like that Mercury. The taillights look great, and it has one of the neatest gauge packages of the era.

Granted most muscle cars look great but for me the 1970 Mercury Spoiler is repulsive. That nose looks like it's inviting a head-on collision. No one can say the 1970 Dodge Coronet 500 because I started this thread and I just bought one.

Which muscle car is the most beautiful? I say a 1969 Charger in silver and black because that's what I have. I also really like the looks of a 1969 Mach 1.

That square thing in the grille looks like a 70s wall clock!
