Mini starter is the way to go...Summit racing,440 source are a couple..
Petty Blue 67 gTx

I had a set of Hedmans recently where the mini wouldn't fit, but the stocker did. YMMV

I have read that a Dakota starter is a mini, and will fit, and will turn even a stroker BB.

My stock one works fine with headers, tight but wires clear fine. You don't want to loose that gear reduction sound it's the sound of a Mopar. Even if it is a little more rough with a stroker lol

dodge truck starter works for me with headers-cranks just fine-(early ram/dakota)

+1 onthe truck starter. Mine is a 96 ram 360 starter. Looks to be the same one 440 source sells as there mini.

Mini starters don't seem to get "heat soaked" as easy as the larger std style starters can get very close to the headers... I use the mini on all mine, you have to cut the top of the main battery post to clear the block on B & R/B 's... or get a "clockable" housing style starter to rotate the housing, they are far more expensive then the regular mini starter...

none of my mp mini starters studs needed to get trimmed at all.
