I remember in the 70's into the 80's having a set of alpha-numeric stamps was kind of a big thing, and people would stamp their name on stuff.

Was promoted as being anti-theft as well, like an engraver.

Yep.....the old SS name that was once said to be put on your valubles.....have it all over a CT-70.....
