Who knows the difference, if any? Two piece rotor and hub 1969 vs 1970

Are the rotor and hub assembly used for 1969 bendix 4 piston caliper brakes the same rotor and hub assembled used for 1970 charger/Cuda single piston floating pin style caliper disc brakes?

Both are two piece rotor and hub design.

I’m trying to determine if 1970 e/b body rotors can be used on the 1969 system

They are different. I’m not sure “how”, but the 70 b-body rotors are a 1-year rotor and we’re SUPER hard to find a few years back (maybe reproduced now???)

They are not interchangeable
Going off memory but I think the offset of the rotor surface in relation to the bearings location is vastly different between the 2

I have some used ones I can measure in comparison. I think or heard they were supposed to be .875 new. Not sure what the minimums are though and when you look at the service manual it just says do not turn/resurface them.

I have noticed a few venders, year one and can’t remember the other right now, that seem to offer a new casting one piece version rotor for the 66-69 Cars. They say it’s for the 4 piston bendix set up. I’d like to know for certain if they are for the oe spindle/knuckle of the 69 car.

I do have complete 73 and up a body knuckles (that’s for you @kerndog ) aka spindles by most it seems, so I could easily convert this car to the newer single piston caliper floating design. But, the re is something appealing or sexy about the 4 oiston caliper set up. Rotors seems to be the biggest cost of the system though…..

The Bendix callipers are much harder to get parts for.
If you need rotors it would pay to swap to the latter pin style IMO.

Yes, Dr. Diff sells the inner bearing spacer. For the later rotors to be used on the early spindles.

I've been in this hobby too long. I can remember buying new rotors and seal kits for my 67 GTX from the Chrysler dealer...
