I have a box full of factory Chrysler 68-70 B-body fuel sending units. None of them function as the contacts are worn from the wipers. I’m tired of aftermarket junk and am looking to have one of my originals rebuilt for my 69. Any companies that can be recommended?

Found this place. Is it legitimate?

Instrument Specialties used to, they stopped. Maybe they know someone that still does it.

If the wiper is the only problem, I have fixed those before, albeit a long time ago. Not even sure what material I used - would need to see what an original is made from. But I made a new contact and hammer riveted it on. Worked great. Gets more complicated if you have winding issues or want it replated.

I have no experience with them, but someone here on FBBO at one point recommended John Wolf and Co for rebuilding them. Allegedly, they have a 3 day turn around and you get your sending unit back all rebuilt and they work correctly. The phone is (440) 942-0083 Willoughby, OH. ($135).

Contact Andy Russell at 330-260-1724. He restored two of my OE fuel senders within the last month. Great work and very reasonably priced. I paid $75 each including return shipping.

He has a website but it doesn't seem to be working. Might be on Facebook as well.

Good information here fellas. I will make this thread a sticky and move it to the fuel forums.

John Wolf and Co is out of business. I checked earlier this year.
They always did very good work.
