I think you will have to have one made, 383 cars did not come with H pipes from the factory to my knowledge.

At first I thought this was a dumb question ,but, from the factory.. did 383 have different size exhaust pipe than 440?........................MO

LOL I was talking about your question, then realized , it's not dumb at all. I had a friend make me a real neat looking X pipe-made to my specs, and when he got done...I could have bought one ready made for less money ! .............................MO

bought my PYPES system for 67 383 from Summit recently - decent price.
It was X crossover but believe they have H as well.

Flowmasters new B body exhaust system. I like the dynomax sound but this is not bad.

Since the 383 is narrower than a 440 and the pipes are closer together, it could affect the 'H' as well.

Exactly. Going from my 413 to 451, the header flanges were significanty narrower, maybe 1-1/2" or so.

So the exhaust routing (underside) is different from a 440???? I would have thought that once it turned along the bottom it would be the same width...???...
Thanks for the education!

If you already have the downpipes/exhaust installed you could have a shop install a crossover.
