Hi all, my '62 Polara is apart now, new floor going in, have a '67 440,4 speed for it plus an upgraded 8 3/4 rear. Can I swap in a later K frame to move the engine back a little? If so which one is best and then what else? I guess the trans mount, again what do people use here. Clutch linkage? I knew the drive shaft would also be a different length but I havent got one yet anyway. Finally is it worth doing? I want to get this right especially as a new floor is going in which I dont want to cut wrong. Any help or advice here would be much appreciated.

Use a 66' and up k frame, you won't need to cut the tunnel at all.

After dealing with the mechanical clutch linkage in swapping over from an automatic to a 4 speed, I finally bought a hydraulic clutch set-up from American Powertrain and love it. Together with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch set, it's a dynamite combination. Easy pedal pressure and great holding power. Worked for me...
