so I ordered a complete mood tie rods/ball joints/qa1 level 1 suspension etc

Spent hours removing the lower control arm bushings and after installing the moog bushings the pin is slightly bigger in diameter

I ordered the parts from summit racing and didn't come across other ones that were different size?

https://m.summitracing.com/parts/MOG-K791

Anyone experienced this? Please help out..any headsup will be appreciated!

Thanks

The K791 is the correct MOOG LCA arm bushing. When you say "pin", do you mean the LCA shaft that fits into the bushing and bolts to the k-frame. The shaft needs to be pressed into the bushing.

Sorry, yes I meant the shaft.

So I have to bring it to a shop I guess for them to press it in?

Thanks for the reply, I started panicking lol

I'll try bringing it to a shop and have them press it in.

Yes, somebody with a good press can do the job. Not a big deal.

Did you cut off the inner shell from the old bushing that is still stuck on the lca shaft? If you don't do that, you'll ruin the new bushing and possibly the shaft.

Good stuff guys. If you've never done this stuff before...the old stuff left behind....can drive ya nuts.

Yep I cut the inner shell off the lca shaft:)

Remember, shaft into the bushing then the bushing into the lca.
