My Coronet was originally a 318 car. Since then it has undertaken quite a few changes. One of them will be the transplanting of a stroked 440/500 with headers. My question is, with the current placement/position of the heater blower motor on the firewall, will the new 440 fit? If not, what is the remedy? Thanks. Pete

Yes. The 440 came from the factory in that body so of course it will fit. They did not move things on the firewall to accomodate different engines. If you had a car with optional air induction such as air gragger, six pack or Hemi then 3 speed wipers were required to clear these items, but that is the only exception.

Big parts delivery today Received the headers, Ron Davis radiator, exhaust...yep looks like next Saturday everything goes in.

Nope, won't fit!! Put the 318 back in and send me the 500" and all the parts. Glad to help.:toothy5::toothy5:

It'll fit only if you unroll that spool of wire first! :D
