Hi All.. I have come across this problem a couple of times in the past years.. and thought I'd pass along a fix to carb newbies.

If your having cold running problems .. shutting off when putting in gear, shutting off when giving it gas and general not running well until it warms up..
With winter coming on there is more moisture in the air and in the vortex of the carb the air flowing past the mixture screw can freeze causing it to miss and die when giving it gas..

What I have done it fix this is go open the mixture screws a 1/4 of a turn and in my case I had to add a 1/4 turn to my curb idle as well and it fixed the problem..
Just thought I'd pass it along to those having a problem and not knowing how to fix..

Take care, Be safe
Tim
