What is everyone doing to their wiper arms. Mine are so-so and with that being said I would like to make them nicer. These are on a 69 Charger and right now they are a dull argent or gray in color.

I think the Argent came on them from the factory to dull the stainless effect when the sun reflects off of them.

you can clean and buff them, they can look like chrome but the reflection can be an issue

Did the argent color come off? Pics of what they looked like when done. Did you put ant kind of coating back on them?
My wiper arms are made of stainless steel. The soda blast basically removes the oxidation and contaminates from the surfaces and gives it a uniform matt appearance. The soda is less aggressive than glass or sand. I prefer the matt finish to a shinny finish, don't like the reflections when driving, too distracting. I'll get some pics for ya...

Thanks pics would be nice..

I just looked at mine. They are not painted argent. They are what I believe to be unpolished stainless to help with glare from the sun. Unlike the polished stainless on earlier 60's cars.
