Last time I put refills on my car I bought regular blades and pulled the rubber out and pitched the rest in the garbage. Installed the blade into the factory blades.
I've been trying to do what you describe for the original metal arms on my 63 Fury. A lot of dinking around to get this right. I've been working with the anco blades. I got sidetracked with other projects and need to get back to this. If you have any tips on how to do this please toss them over. Thanks.
