Hello I'm kameron and I'm new to forbbodiesonly so please if I posted this wrong or am in wrong place please show me the right way I have a question about my 71 roadrunner I just started on here's my thing my wipers work on all speeds but will not park off glass when turned off they run one full stroke and just stop about 4 inches too high I'm not sure if all the linkage is correct but motor is correct part number and wipers work well clearing glass in correct stroke they just stop well short of parking place any info or ideas would be great thank you

Pull the cover off the transmission part of the wiper motor and check the gear and the shut off switch. Sometimes something breaks or just moves. Been years since working on one so maybe someone can give you better info but I remember being surprised at how easy it was to fix. And welcome to the site!

Yep what he said, I have a 71 unit on my 69 RR and had the same issue these units get worn and the park feature gets out of whack, Like Cranky said pull the cover off 3 screws and check that the pivot arm shaft makes contact with the return contact. I found that mine was not clocked right, you should notice on the sides of the housing there are some notches? the center section has to be placed just so for the park feature contact to work. Kim at passion4mopars is the expert on these check out their website r send her a message on this site.
