Have a 69 Super Bee with a one wire alternator and a Dakota Digital dash. Have a few specific questions. Where did you run the one wire from the alternator? Two what wire goes to the positive ammeter terminal on the back of the dash? Thanks Scott
Does not matter if you run a one wire alternator or standard alternator the wiring stays the same. There is no ammeter. You bypass it. So nothing goes to the positive and negative posts under the dash. Got it.Does not matter if you run a one wire alternator or standard alternator the wiring stays the same. There is no ammeter. You bypass it. Dakota has a voltmeter.
There should be no posts. The two Ammeter wires should be tied together as there is no ammeter with the Dakota dash. The factory ammeter is gone.So nothing goes to the positive and negative posts under the dash. Got it.
