Is there a way to wire an after market water temp sensor but also keep the gauge cluster temp sensor functioning? Has anyone done this, let me know. Thanks

YES...THERE IZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

i just did this last week. on your water pump, there is a plug. it should be a 3/8 allen. unscrew it out and put in a mechanical gauge...VOILA

I would go with a mechanical gauge and not another electrical one, they're a lot more accurate and easy to install.

Great idea but was looking for something i can see when I'm driving. Thanks anyway!

in car mech gauge, using after market sensor and factory sensor is still in place. Like dawg said use the spare hole in your pump housing to add the sensor and route it into the car.

What's the preferred route of the temp gauge sensor sender cable/wire into the passenger compartment?
