Without saying your age, post a picture of something a young person wouldn’t understand

My Dad and Uncles would return from Wyoming after a Mule Deer hunting trip with several deer. We would all spend a great deal of time carving them up into various cuts and packaging it all for going into the coffin top freezers in the basements. Many hours spent cranking that handle making 'Muley' burger.....back in the days where if you wanted to eat, you had to WORK for it.

We made our own scooters on the streets of Brooklyn, using a wood milk crate, a 2x4, and detached a roller-skate in half to nail it to each end of the 2x4.

We also made our own go-cart, similarly, except we used wheels from a grocery shopping-cart. The prior post scooter & this post go-cart depict the first things I ever built. The rope was used to steer the front pivoting "axle" where your feet rested, while a pivoting piece of wood on the side was used to rub against a rear wheel for braking.

I had the Pinto when I was about 10years old. Had a plane also.
Cox gas powered toys. I’m still surprised I didn’t lose a finger while trying to start the plane. The propeller was spring loaded and you had to wind up.
