Slightly askew, but I remember many years ago when we had classified adverts in our local Saturday newspaper. It was always a rush to get the copy in the morning and snatch a bargain....some of the typo's were absolute howlers. Here's a couple that have stuck in my memory .....

Chevy advertised with a 12 Volt diff....

Ferrari listed as having "one fastidiot owner" (should have been fastidious)

The best one ever was from a London based Trader magazine.....I was searching for tools....

Robin is also a brand of test meters.

I just recalled something else from the old days of the newspaper classified.

Someone advertised a really cool muscle car years ago, and the advert said; "Genuine enquiries call 09*********, all other interested parties should contact Helen Waite."

Do you know how hard it is to find Helen Waite in the White Pages, and she is pissed about so many callers about her muscle car being up for sale.
