For 2500 you can do a whole lot better, I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole, offer him $250 cuz that truck is pretty much scrap. Its not a 4x4 would say Power over the Ram insignia on the side. Also would be a W150, also looks like it hit something in the front the way the bumper that curls down. Walk away if he wants more than 250 bucks.

Coronet340, go check out the mopars for sale over at FABO, I think there is a really nice Dodge there for about 2k. He's sold a few trucks on the site and they were all very nice.

I passed on the truck.

There are quite a few newer body styles around here for cheap. Quite a bit of 98-02 for around the 2-3k. I just rather have the older body style and the easier to work on truck.

I did go look at a pretty cool '65 F100 yesterday. But it sounded like it had a rod knocking and there was just a little too much smoke out of the tail pipe for me. Sweet lookin' ratrod though.

around here thats a 300 dollar truck,no clue why he put that much money into the engine,if he even did...
some people like to call the fresh paintjob on the motor a " rebuild "

in fact i can go round the corner right now n buy a 4x4 with a rebuilt trans lol but the fact is really it was rebuilt years ago<<
but yeah 300 would buy that.

there are some sweet clean squares out there tho,for your price range at 2K.
ive seen absolutely mint ones going for high dollar prices too on the bay but check craigslist n ask other members.
just be patient n shop wisely.
be warned btw on the late 80s/early 90s just before they swapped to the new bodystyle there was some Diff Overdrive transmission combos in those,and can be costly if in need of repair.
the 500?518? trying to recall this from memory...

o and dont buy a slant 6 truck either you wont be satisfied.
