This spare was in the car when I bought it. I have no idea if it’s original, if that’s even a thing, or if it’s worth keeping. Just going to pitch it if not. Thanks for any input!

If it has never been used, someone would want it.
Otherwise it’s junk.

Take a closer photo of the wheel only.

It's not junk. It has value.
Your stuck on the side of the road with no spare.
Your parts car will not roll with 3 wheels.

It's a "P" metric, so the tire is not "classic".

...but steel wheels can be valuable to anyone looking for a specific one.

I can't believe I'm saying this..... but it's getting harder to find original steel wheels. You never know when you need one wheel/tire for a project or a roller. I don't throw much away anymore.

Tire is not original. The first clue is the whitewall is turned to the inside. The wheel could have some value, but you would need to post pictures of the stamping by the valve stem and any on the inside of the rim. Also does it have any pitting because it looks somewhat rusty.

Most wheels around today have the stud holes worn oversized due the repeated impact wrench use.
Also tire changers used by salvage yards aren't the best and destroyed wheels I was going to buy.
We have one left, and unused G78x14 out of a 1974 Plymouth, everything else removed from vehicles we stripped for parts.

Ok so I got some closer pictures of the wheel. If there’s supposed to be numbers on it I can’t see them but it’s pretty well covered in rust. Looks like it would probably clean up decently. Looks like it was mounted at some point, but again I don’t know this history of this thing. Could be a pos they found on the side of the road one day and threw it in the trunk and forgot about it.

The old school car guys are going to hate me…but I have a sub in the spare well, so it’s not going in the car. And that’s why I have AAA haha.
