Would you buy reproduction 1970 Dodge Charger front fenders if they were available from AMD?
Note: AMD currently offers L/H & R/H front fenders for 1968 and 1969 Dodge Chargers for $920.69 (normally, $989.99) each.

AMD Sales currently doesn't know if they have plans at this time to manufacture the 70 charger fenders.
See below.

I dont have a Charger..... whats different?? Side markers, or even more?

Take a look at the bumpers and compare
Oh yeah.... i certainly should have known that. Chrysler really loved their wraparound bumpers for a time.
I slid into a guardrail on a RR underpass at about 15 mph in a 71 C-body when i was a kid. Absolutely no visible damage!!

Ill take a pair of spares

Exactly. The insurance and safety committees were mad about the intricate front ends being smashed on the earlier models like the 66-7 Chargers.
Expensive!

Well i have a 69 but if i needed them i would only buy AMD if i cannot find nice original ones.
I do not really enjoy buying aftermarket anything these days.

And with this pole will that get AMD to maybe start making parts ?

Well, You can't.... It seems I see ten sets of 68 and 69 to every 70 set I see, and when I see 70 sets they aren't "super nice"...

I would buy them if I needed them........ and 1200 wouldn't be an issue, that's a steal when the only other option is performing miracles on some clapped out pos

Partly, it depends on participation in this poll. Maybe AMD doesn't believe there is enough of a market to offset startup costs (non-recurring engineering, tooling, etc.) and production costs.

I haven't asked AMD what would be their threshold quantity for manufacturing them.

Maybe some enterprising glutton-for-punishment member on Facebook can start their own poll on '70 Charger fenders.

If I had a 70 Charger that needed them, I would.

Maybe more people would buy '70 Charger projects if the fenders were available. :)

I want a spare set because I'm paranoid about accidents. Actually, it isn't paranoia if you drive in Georgia.

Well I guess I would since it cost me $1000 to fix my driver side fender and thats not with the price of the donor fender or AMD patch panel.

I added onto your poll for 2 pair if the price was reasonable on the other post.

I said no only due to pricing, and it's not that I couldn't afford to buy them, I just never enjoyed a vehicle after soaking a lot of money into one. I drive all my vehicles in the past regardless of value or rarity, or collector value.
But, that being said, the prices in your initial post is probably my limit, under 1k or I pass, I put my money into drive train primarily. Nothing wrong with spending your money as you see fit, this is why this thread is really useless, you have to decide for yourself the value TO YOU if it's worth it. Better to drive with a smile on your face you couldn't scrape off with a chisel vs driving in fear and misery or limiting driving due to worry over damage loss of value etc.

I punted a shopping cart accidentally while driving through a parking lot at night, I was probably going about 20 mph. Barely a scratch and a slight tweak at the lower passenger side section of the bumper on my '70 Charger that you couldn't even see unless you sat down to look at it.

As for the poll, I can't say...but I'm sure glad my body man didn't need much to repair my original fenders.

I searched and sifted through the Welcome Wagon forum and found many members that own a 1970 Charger.

The purpose of this post is to alert these owners of this poll/thread. There are many that may not have seen this poll/thread even though it is a sticky.

My thanks to those that have already voted and/or commented.

I kindly ask that you vote and comment as you see fit. Please note this poll was setup so no one, including me, can see your vote. I cannot change the poll to identify who voted for what, nor see who voted for that matter.
