They should also offer a 1970 Hood.
One reason I bought a 1969 RT SE, is because the front clip is available.
If a 70 front was available, I’d like to buy a 70 Charger as well.

I keep a pair of original fenders for both the 70 and 71 Chargers. I have four of each year and the fenders are not being reproduced anytime soon if ever.

I was able to get AMD to reproduce the 70 Charger front valence pans. I let them use my NOS front valence pan for the template. It came back in good condition but has plaster on it. They had no interest in doing 70 Charger front fenders. I also offered to let them use my 70 Challenger convertible NOS rear quarter panels to template, they declined my offer stating that there wasn't enough market to justify the tooling costs.

Odds are IF they were done,, they would be a one run and done

At approx $1000 each.

I might consider buying a set and put them away

I know someone who needed a set maybe 10-12 years ago .
He bought a decent roller 1970 Charger for best I remember around $10 k
He swapped the fenders with his rusty ones and resold the car

I searched and sifted through the Welcome Wagon forum and found many members that own a 1970 Charger.

The purpose of this post is to alert these owners of this poll/thread. There are many that may not have seen this poll/thread even though it is a sticky.

Hopefully you'll get some votes, but less that half of that list of names has been on this site this year.

I said no only due to pricing, and it's not that I couldn't afford to buy them, I just never enjoyed a vehicle after soaking a lot of money into one. I drive all my vehicles in the past regardless of value or rarity, or collector value.
But, that being said, the prices in your initial post is probably my limit, under 1k or I pass, I put my money into drive train primarily. Nothing wrong with spending your money as you see fit, this is why this thread is really useless, you have to decide for yourself the value TO YOU if it's worth it. Better to drive with a smile on your face you couldn't scrape off with a chisel vs driving in fear and misery or limiting driving due to worry over damage loss of value etc.
So with you on thoughts.

If AMD did a preorder that required folks to put down a deposit of 1/2 (or all) the money for a pair, they'd get a legitimate idea of real interest. I'd do it if they had a published goal before manufacturing and transparent tracking for # of fenders ordered. They'd also need a published time limit - aka refunds if goal not reached in 6-12 months.

I'd like to see one of these for the 1970 Roadrunner/GTX/Satellite. No one produces front fenders for these either.

I could use a pair of these fenders as well for when the Roached Runner becomes the next restoration project

I think I have two right side fenders that need a lot of work like that. I would feel bad about asking anything over $500.00 each for either one of them.

I'm in for 2 pairs(four fenders) at $1000-$1250 each.

I want a set for use and a set for "Oh ****, why were you idiots not watching where you are going ?"

Until such time as AMD does them, I'm about to make a 69 out of my least worthy 70.

My bodyman made two left fenders into one and you would never be able to tell, but a spare set wouldn't hurt. I bought a set of American made quarter panels in maybe 2008, 2009. I paid $1000 US each for them. They are very high quality, unfortunately the company went out of business. Not sure when AMD started selling them but that could have had something to do with it.
