WOW, Talk about a close friggen shave

SO it was a little windy last night, and it seems it was coming from a different direction.

So, the first pic is what i saw when i took the dogs out to go potty.

I freaked and ran down there in my shorts expecting to see a broken window or a dent and scratched paint.

The second is what i saw, the pole, laying on the ground, under the body contour, with out a mark on the car. Amazing, the wind must have lifted and blown the side out enough for the pole to clear the body. WOW.

From the look of it and the marks on the ground it looks like the wind actually pushed the shelter along the ground.

ANd yes i added more hold downs this afternoon.

wow, that is extremely close, but my first question is why do you have a car THAT nice in that cover and not in a enclosed building, garage, storage shed, trailer...something with a little more protection!!!

If you lived in Texas Id let you store it in my garage.....

Well, I had a 3 car garage, with the Bee and the wifes car inside. But thanks to the greedy, overextended landlord with 3 mortgages, he wanted to raise the rent from $1400 to 2200.

Well that's not going to happen, so we ended up moving, nice house, but no garage, but the good thing is that the new landlord is a contractor, so he will build me a garage when I can afford it.

The Wifes Explorer sits out without a cover too
