Hi,
I'm looking for a single 426 hemi head. I need the later style like used on the 68+ cars. There is a difference in the valve cover mounting.
It can need repair of any kind, water jacket cracks, guide/seat work, stripped threads etc. as long as the price reflects it..
I know I can just buy a new casting, but I'm building a "pieced together" motor, so it wouldn't be in the spirit of things. I don't even have a home for his engine, it may just be dynoed and displayed in the shop.
I also need;
A crankshaft
Valve covers,
Intake of some sort, old and weird is ok.
Interesting cam/lifter combo, retro grind ok.
7 connecting rods, singles ok too, I'll get to 8 eventually...
.030" pistons.
Balancer
