Turns out my 'runs good' barn find 68 Charger has a cracked block the seller neglected to mention. It does run, just won't hold coolant. Anyway, I'm not looking for anything special or super HP, just a decent running big block I can drive around. Car was originally 383 2bbl. Thanks

As in coolant in the crankcase contaminating the oil or leaking externally? Check the expansion plugs. The tin one rot out over time.
Some cracks can be repaired.

I have a 68 hp block if interested. Needs to be rebuilt. Also enough parts to put one together. Intakes, cam, lifters, distributor and ECU.
