I was recently asked for my pronoun(s). I said, 'Superman, All-Star and Easily Annoyed'.
I got my last quarterly tax estimate payment in early to beat the deadline for no longer accepting checks. I'm considering setting up a separate account with a minimal balance just for payments to the IRS. Probably a waste of time. If they want to suck your money, they're probably capable anyway. One way to avoid this is to file accurate tax returns on a timely basis and pay the balance when due. Just sayin'...

You should have checked 'Other' then put in 'Toaster' for your gender.I think it’s to put your information on file with them. But like I mentioned, this place knows me by name so this crap makes no sense to me. When I came in they said hi Mike, so they know what name I go by. I checked other on the form and it took up most of the form putting all the letters of the alphabet and a couple plus

Free Tax USA!!! No hidden agendas or forms to fill out, just the basics and summaries of income and deductions, and then e-file it. They do charge for some add-ons, but for just a simple filing, instrament it works now for me for over 25 years. Providing my routing number and account number helps in the refund processing, which is so much quicker. I filed my taxes on the 2nd of this month, and the refund is being deposited into my account this week. Get a refund also every year. Maybe it is time to switch from your current tax filer to Free Tax USA or some other a I would never answer that Pronoun thing question ever!!! cr8crshr/Bill

Whenever asked for a pronouns, or on a form like this you have a few options.
"Your Majesty"
"Your Highness"
"His Grace"
etc.
Example:
Person A: "Hey Detective D can you..."
Me: (interupting) "Tsk Tsk, you did not use my pronoun! I am offended!"
Person A: " Oh I am so sorry! Your Highness Detective D can you please fill out this form?"
Me: "Precedent set by my fellow pronoun users dictates I can never accept your apology, please apologize more. Also, I will fill this form out."
Also, depending on who or whatever is going down this path, do not let them off the hook. They opened that door, they now are going to abide by the rules they set themselves. If they "can't proceed without the space filled in" then under no circumstances can any corespondance proceed without them using whatever you write in there.

These past few years, the Revenue Canada Tax people, have committed more offences that the regular workers.
Started with scamming the Covid payments. Then just sloppy work, or non work. And I have in front of me, a letter for mailing. Requesting relief of interest owed, reason, their sloppy slow work. Ask me how I am doing in about 6 months.

I've never been asked anything that ridiculous in a professional setting. Don't group me up into that. They would know better, first and last time.
I have no problem with some of our extended family members being gay or lesbian, they're a blast to be around and great people, but I have openly told them there are only two genders. I DON'T do gender pronouns, period. DON'T ever being it up and they don't. I have my rights also!!
