I like the looks of them too, and the 17" means a lot of modern tires can be used. But I don't think you'll see many pictures of them on cars yet, they won't be for sale until December according to Year One. For $699 per set I'm thinking about it.

They do look good.. It wouldn't be surprising to see these on a few cars next summer.

You guys looking for less weight or 17's? I just got some 15x8 steel rallyes from Summit. $109. Free ship and mount balance the 295/50 Coopers. Nice.

You know, I don't actually know what these 17" wheels even weigh. How heavy are the steelies?

Don't know. Specs don't have it and they are mounted now. They are Wheel Vintiques from Summit. Part # WVI-56-5812042. There is room to spare with the 295/50 15's.

Photon440 what wheels were you thinking of buying?8inch or 9inch?I was hoping to get 9inch for the rear and 8inch for the front but they only sell sets of four of the same size.I have a 70 RR by the way...

I wanted to see what I could do with 9" in front as well, but might have to go with your idea and team up.

The $699 price would be good for me, but it's the $18,965.44 in shipping and handling that would be the deal breaker. :)

i think i read somewhere their around the 28lbs mark for a 17x8 rim...
