That's what I do. Can't take pictures, can't talk about them but some are pretty cool.

Out here they (Maybe it's you) drive RT66 and highway 93 a good bit. Mostly testing the desert heat in the summer is when I've seen them. Some are covered and all have manufacture's plates on them.I've seen them at fuel stops and usually 3 or more.

That's awesome Steve! I saw the Tesla Model X and the Bentley Bentayga being tested by Motor Trend with manufacturer plates just north of Salton Sea in California.

Like that Cool looking Chrysler Turbine. ? Someone posted footage of the demize of those. What a shame.

See the manufacturer cars almost every time I go between Lansing and Flint or Detroit. Sometimes even in camouflage. Fun to see usually.

I worked with Polaris on the Slingshot. It was all secret I had to sign my life away. No pictures, no hints, no nothing. I think over the 2 years I was involved with this they changed locations 4 times. It was fun to work on a top secret project but would not want to do it every day.

I read some interesting stories about guy's driving those cars. One magazine guy had a Porsche 911 and he decided to air it out in Nevada and got stopped. The car had a manufacturer's license plate on it but they checked his credentials anyway then escorted him on out of the area he was in. He said he was well above the century mark.....
